Greatest American Dog - Week 3 Team Work

In my opinion the show continues to improve. I liked both tricks again this week and the personality of the contestants continues to grow on me. The Dog House has now become an interesting source of conflict and while I did not like it at first it has grown on me.

I am a little disappointed by the editing of the show. While we heard a lot about the conflict between Elvis and the other dogs we really have not been shown any of the controversy except for the one battle between Tillman and Elvis. If there was so much conflict why wasn’t it captured on film?

I thought the judges were spot on when they called Lori on her attacks on David and Elvis. Even though this week was called Team Work, and Lori back stabbed one of her teammates, they gave her a pass. I probably would have sent her and Andrew home rather than David and Elvis. I think that the personality brought to the show by David and Elvis will be missed.

    After watching the stunt with the harness on the dogs for the tower, Galaxy became hurt. I can’t believe that you would not have his leg x-rayed. I also can’t believe that you would have dogs in such a dangerous stunt. Not only that, but risk injury.

    Maybe the host of the show can jump out of an airplane at 30,000 without a parachute and see if he comes up lame, (just to put it into comparison). Tell me, what did this stunt prove? Only put fear into a very smart animal. This is a cruelty to animals, (my opinion)

    All the dogs seem to be equal except the maltese. What is going on with that, having Andrew compete witout anyone in his size range.

    I also have two malteses’ and and a cock-a-poo. I would never have my animals compete in a competition where there would be danger involving their limbs. (they have no way to defend themselves except for their limbs, and when they become injured they are no longer mobil).

    I am surprised that PETA has not shut this show down do to the cruely and danger you are placing these dogs in.
