I HATE BETH JOY. I suppose Preston’s painting was the ‘worst’, given what the judges turned out to be looking for. The entire challenge was b.s., though–the judging standards were stupid (entirely subjective and idiosyncratic concepts of ‘art’, w/o giving any room for something other than pat realism) and inconsistent (did Bella Star have more techniques? She pretty much just walked all over! Presley and Andrew had more difficult “techniques”) and the people who were judged later had an obvious advantage (obviously Teresa knew she had to wax lyrically about her moon, stars theme given that she heard poor Bill get ragged on, so she added the bit about Leroy driving her “over the moon”–is that even an idiom?–that Victoria fell in love with). I don’t think it’s ‘challenging’ your dog to tape crap to its paws when you know it doesn’t like it. Travis’ defense was irrelevant–NO ONE can say any of them don’t love their dogs, but you see it every week–owners are making their dogs do things they hate B/C THEY WANT TO WIN. So yes, I believe Bethjoy (who’s so immature she makes me ill to listen to) would flip out in protecting Bella Star from *Travis* touching Bella’s feet (we heard on day one that Bethjoy doesn’t want anyone else even TOUCHING her dog, right? Or am I confusing her with Brandy) but she apparently had no qualms about touching Bella repeatedly at the paws to make her walk all over that canvas dozens of times (her main amazing ‘technique’ being walking, WOW). That wasn’t “working thru” trauma–that was getting the job done in spite of how the dog feels, which is just what Teresa did with the snarl-bands on Leroy…. Still, Laura did try throw someone else under the bus, but then, it’s not fair for Bethjoy or anyone else to get away with crap…. And of course, ultimately, the judges’ most dumb assumption was that they could deduce EFFORT and TIME from the final results. Didn’t Laura and Preston spend the most time? All Bella did was WALK and have her paws traumatized!
Yes it is absolutely time for Beth Joy and Bella Star to be gone. BJ is on my last nerve…..
I WAS SO TIRED OF BETH JOY AND HER EXCUSES FOR HER DOG SO I AGREE I AM ALSO FED UP WITH THE JUDGES BIAS TOWARD LORI AND ANDREW THEY HAVE NOT DONE ANY OF THE TASKS YET THEY ARE NEVER CRITISIZED FOR IT LIKE BILL AND TRAVIS HAVE BEEN ALSO I SEE A GENUINE DISLIKE OF JD BY ONE OF THE JUDGES. WHAT THE SHOW NEEDS IS CEASAR — WHY HAVEN’T THE BREEDS TRAITS BEEN CONSIDERED THAT IS WERE THEIR TRUE TALENTS ARE BEST TESTED—-SO FAR I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT LORI AND ANDREW’S TRUE TALENT IS EXCEPT BACKSTABBING THE OTHER CONTESTANTS AND AN OBVIOUS SEPARTION PROBLEM— AS THE OWNER OF 2 RESCUE DOGS I CAN TELL YOU EVERY DOG IS DIFFERENT AND WILL RESPOND IN ITS OWN WAY AND TO ITS OWNER HOW IT IS MOST COMFORTABLE—- SOME ARE HARD SOME LIKE PLAY SOME ARE DIVA SOME ARE SHY JUST LIKE A CHILD—PLUS THEY ALL HAVE A RANGE OF NATURAL TRAITS THAT INFLUENCE HOW THEY RESPOND TO DIFFERENT SITUATIONS—THIS SHOW NEEDS INSIGHT FROM SOMEONE WHO KNOWS THE BREEDS.
I really hope the contestants read these, because I want Bill and Star to know how much they will be missed. Bill the relationship you have with Star is like one I have never seen before. You truely do love the orange dog and she truely loves you back, you can see it in her eyes when she looks at you. You were always willing to help anyone not just looking out for yourself, there was no one else in the house that would have done that. I know that you will be happy to be back home, but I will miss seeing the two of you every week, I was rooting for the man from Texas and his orange dog.
I think the two of you are the Greatest American Team
