Maybe Leroy will get a brand new bark collar when he gets home.

I am very surprised. other than the barking, the dog is very well trained. I thought for sure it would be Presley because he is so young….

As far as this challenge goes, I give a heartfelt respect for Travis to be the first and only contestant to forgo a “dogbone” challenge. Although I’m a bit surprised that it happened this week and not the week before, at least somebody was finally willing to step up and say, “this is enough”. If the dog isn’t having fun, what’s the point? Kudos, Travis. Admittedly, a boxer owner and a true fan from the beginning, even I was a bit surprised by the judges’ decisions. Don’t get me wrong.. I am thrilled that Presley is still there. What that 16 month old boxer puppy has been able to accomplish in his time is truly amazing. I just am in shock of some of the responses of the judges. Victoria Stilwell has been an absolute favorite of mine on her show, It’s Me or the Dog. However, I find it hard to believe that even she would endorse such a clingy and obsessive relationship as that between Laurie and Andrew if she’d been able to observe the entire footage from that show. Who wants a dog who is totally unwilling to engage another other than it’s owner in play? My dogs love me but are willing to love others also. I was surprised that Travis and Presley weren’t the ones to be expelled this week. I won’t complain though. Week after week, that amazing, high energy puppy has made great strides. Though Leroy was an exceptional and smart dog, it was evident that Theresa had the tendency to be harsh with him. I loved Leroy, but was not sad to see his owner lose out on the money. All I can say, at this point, from the scenes from next week’s episode; is it possible that past contestants come into play in determining the winner? And please tell me that I am wrong in thinking that again an African elephant is involved! Especially in asking the dogs to walk beneath it?! Travis! This is the challenge to say NO! to.

Interesting to compare the amazing number of responses following last week’s show to the number posted this week. After watching every episode, I can only draw one conclusion: the “judges” are complete morons….and it gets worse each week. I understand the purpose of the show is entertainment, ratings, and dollars, but the judges could at least TRY evaluate the dogs and their owners fairly and consistently. Last week Bill and Star were sent packing because they failed to complete the zipline jump. This week, the one dog that failed the task remained, and one of the dogs who completed the task was expelled. Go figure! Then to add insult to injury, the judges criticize Galaxy as being a “robodog”…without personality. WHAT??? If there’s any dog without personality, it has to be Andrew! He doesn’t like people (other than his controlling owner)and he doesn’t even like to interact with other dogs….THAT’S AMERICA’S GREATEST DOG??? Puhlease!

We will never watch this again….Bill & Star should still
be in contention. The judges are complete idiots especially the one who has a little dog permanently affixed to her. I would have loved to see her put her dog
through the same trials that the other dogs went through
between the high ramp and trying to get them to leap off
a very high platform. I bet she would not allow her dog
to do it. Also whose bright idea was it to make them
stand up to an elephant and expect them not to be frightened. YOU PEOPLE ARE NUTS & THE SHOW IS UNFAIR.

In response to the above letter, I can only assume that the previously weeks episode with the elephant and the “LEAP” has deterred a lot of the viewers who are animal lovers.

I must admit I was one of those, but at the last minute decided to watch the program and actually enjoyed it.

Please don’t dis Andrew. He gave me the best laugh of all. Not only did he not bother with fetching the ball and other items that should have distracted him, he actually yawned a couple of times. I swear he was thinking to himself “Okay, lets get this over with, so I can get back to Mom”.

My own dog would have gone charging off just seeing a ball, and would have totally failed the finding of the food test. I have to beg him to eat…Maybe, he is not normal.

Yes, I was very surprised to see LeRoy evicted. So he barks, so what, that is the breed of the dog and that is what they are trained to do.

    My last thought is…..GO ANDREW.
